Hey dog mom friends!
It's time to choose our next cozy romance or thrilling mystery read! To help us decide, please cast your vote for our February book club selection by January 30th.
We are kicking this book club off in February so since Valentine’s Day is around the corner I thought we might want to start with a romance book? If not, I threw in a mystery too with just a touch of romance in it! February is Black History month so all the authors below are Black authors.
Here’s a little about each book to help you decide:
A Walk in the Park by Rebekah Weatherspoon: Andre and Janelle, two heartbroken individuals who fall for the same adorable rescue dog, Zeus. Unable to decide who should get him, they strike an unusual deal: they'll co-parent Zeus for a month. As they navigate this unexpected arrangement, they discover an unexpected connection and a possible second chance at love.
Pardon My Frenchie by Farrah Rochon: Ashanti is the owner of a successful doggie daycare and the caretaker of her twin sisters which is A LOT. Life gets even more chaotic when her adorable French bulldog and poodle bestie go viral on social media. When Ashanti meets Thad, a grumpy dog hater, they clash and he pulls his grandmother’s poodle out of her daycare. Forced to work together to mend fences, Ashanti and Thad must navigate their differences and the unexpected sparks that fly between them.
Two Parts Sugar, One Part Murder by Valerie Burns: After a disastrous wedding, Maddy inherits her aunt's bakery in a charming Michigan town. While trying to adjust to her new life and the eccentric locals, Maddy finds herself embroiled in a murder mystery when the town mayor is found dead, and her fingerprints are on the murder weapon.
